"Techguy" Michael Seidel found out how to run run the PowerShell-Version of Windows executing the Orchestrator Runbook Service in "Run .Net Script" Activity: http://www.techguy.at/orchestrator-und-powershell-v3-funktioniert-auch-ohne-workaround/.

Simple with the DWord-Value OnlyUseLatestCLR = 1 in key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework of the registry of Orchestrator Runbook Servers ...

OnlyUseLatestCLR

the "Run .Net Script" Activity from Orchestrator uses the PowerShell-Version of Windows:

Get-Host-Version

Get-Host-Version-Result

Thanks a lot Mr. Techguy!

Explore all of your installed IPs and custom "Run .Net Script" Activities of your Runbook automations in order to verify that they work correctly. If not set OnlyUseLatestCLR = 0 and use PowerShell{Script} as mentioned in my post some time ago.
